Shopping in Marbella: where to go and why it matters
Marbella has great shopping, but the best choice depends on what you need: everyday essentials, home upgrades, affordable family basics, or a change of scenery. Tap any photo to enlarge it, and use the Directory buttons to browse all stores before you go.
Centro Comercial La Cañada (Marbella)
La Cañada is the most practical âone-tripâ shopping centre in Marbella. If youâve just moved in, youâre doing small upgrades at home, or you want reliable family shopping without overthinking, this is usually the smartest first stop â and you can also do your grocery shop at Alcampo inside the mall.
El Corte InglĂ©s (Puerto BanĂșs)
El Corte InglĂ©s is the âeverything under one roofâ option in BanĂșs â perfect when you want quality brands, a reliable shopping experience, and you donât want to run between different stores. Itâs especially strong for fashion, shoes, cosmetics/perfume, and gifts.
If youâre visiting from outside the EU, itâs also one of the easiest places to manage tax-free shopping (ask at checkout for the paperwork).
Puerto BanĂșs â luxury waterfront shopping
Puerto BanĂșs is Marbellaâs most famous luxury shopping zone. The marina and the streets just behind it are lined with designer boutiques, premium watch & jewellery stores, and a âwindow-shoppingâ atmosphere you canât really replicate elsewhere.
Marbella Old Town (Casco Antiguo) â unique local boutiques
For a slower, more charming shopping experience, Marbellaâs Old Town is the best alternative to malls. The pedestrian streets around Plaza de los Naranjos are full of small, âpeculiarâ shops: independent fashion, artisan gifts, ceramics, leather goods, local gourmet products, and beautiful little concept stores.
Centro Comercial Marina BanĂșs (Puerto BanĂșs)
Marina BanĂșs is a compact indoor shopping centre right in the heart of Puerto BanĂșs. Itâs ideal for a quick browse, escaping the heat, and combining shopping with a coffee or lunch nearby.
Centro Comercial Miramar (Fuengirola)
When Marbella starts to feel repetitive, Miramar is a great âresetâ option. Itâs a larger shopping destination with a different mix of stores and a more âbig day outâ feel: shopping, food and leisure in one place.
â Featured Local Shops
Two local brands worth knowing â one online (designed here) and one physical shop in Marbella.
DOLFIE
A very special brand: the creators and designers live here, and the shoes are made in Portugal with premium materials in small, artisan-style workshops. Theyâre also authentic barefoot shoes (wide toe box, flexible feel, natural movement) â ideal if you care about comfort and foot health.
Scoothub
Specialist scooter shop for kids and adults â from beginner setups to professional scooters and parts. Ideal if you want solid advice, upgrades, or a quality first scooter.
Bike Philosophy
Local bike shop focused on quality bikes and a friendly, rider-first service. Great for choosing the right setup, keeping your bike running smoothly, and getting quick fixes done properly â from routine maintenance and tune-ups to repairs, parts replacement, and workshop support.
Non-EU residents can usually claim VAT refunds on purchases over âŹ100. Many major retailers can prepare the paperwork at checkout â just ask.
